Couples Therapy
Couples therapy = Relationship therapy
When thinking about couples we sometimes forget how it is structured, or what really is. Couples are composed of two individuals that relate to each other. A relationship is established, and the movement begins. In other words, it takes TWO to have a relationship, luckily YOU are one of them.
As such, it is important to understand that improving your self will improve your relationship with others. This improvement will not only help you to enhance your relationships but also make them stronger and more enjoyable. Now, ask yourself:
If I want a better relationship, what can I do to get what I want ?
What I am willing to do?
What is getting on my way?
These questions might take a minute to answer, their importance can uncover reasons why your relationship might be in trouble. Keep in mind, this is not a declaration of guilt, this is a declaration of interest. It shows that you are interested in doing what it takes to not only heal your relationship but also heal yourself.
We can all benefit from a healthier relationship in our life’s not only with our significant others but also with those around us. Family, neighbors, and coworkers are some of the many that could benefit from a healthier you. Therapy can help you learn more about yourself, your relationships, and ways to make the best of them.
