Texas Inclusion
We are active advocates of acceptance and living in an all-inclusive society that allows all individuals of different abilities, cultures, and diverse backgrounds to live their life to their full potential. Children and adolescents can have trouble expressing their emotions with words. We believe that art, play, and other expressive therapy approaches are highly effective ways to communicate with them and instill a positive connection.
As a bilingual professionals, we have helped clients from different cultural backgrounds. To accommodate busy lifestyles, we offer evening and weekend appointments.
Our priority is helping you heal.
Emotional pain puts a strain on all aspects of life. We can help. We work with children, teens, adults, couples and families that are overwhelmed, feel stuck, or need support. Using variety of person-centered, nurturing therapeutic approaches we help you strengthen your awareness, heal, and achieve positive changes.
We will soon offer the convenience of “pay by insurance”. Please be aware there are some differences in how we are able to serve you if you choose this option.
Insurance mandates a diagnosis from the 1st session; they also determine how many sessions you should have covered and continue counseling. Insurance will have access to our session notes and your forms; we will do our best to provide the minimal amount of information possible. However, there are times when insurance will ask for all data to reimburse the session cost.
Counseling provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which you can talk about problems and anything else that’s bothering you or making life difficult. Your therapist pays attention to what you have to say and then collaborates with you to devise a strategy for overcoming obstacles and achieving a higher quality of life.
People who participate in group therapy can benefit from the support and encouragement of their peers. People in the group can see that others are going through similar experiences, which might make them feel less alone. Members of a group can serve as role models for others in the group.
A good therapist collaborates with you and encourages you. They’re there to help you improve your mental health. They aren’t the teacher dictating “proper” behavior or the parent enforcing discipline on a child. Their behavior should not reflect a power struggle or a “doctor knows best” attitude. You should not feel inferior to your therapist, despite the fact that you should respect their abundance of expertise.
The number of recommended sessions varies by illness and treatment type, but most psychotherapy clients report feeling better after 3 months; those with depression and anxiety see considerable improvement after 1-2 months and 3-4 months, respectively. Each journey is different and every step gets you closer to recovery.
We practice a holistic therapy approach. This allow us to be flexible and personalize their treatment to the specific needs of each client.
